HOT NEWS!! Chitterybite have recently taken part in a program filmed at BBC Scotland for the Homecoming 09 celebrations, which mark the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns. The Chitterz sing and play in the program along with a few well-kent faces and a cross-section of people from Scotland. The film was played at midnight on the big screens at Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party to launch the Year of Homecoming 09 and a making of this film will feature in a half-hour BBC Scotland Artworks programme about the song Auld Lang Syne. |

Ceilidh in the city! Chitterybite are presently the resident Ceilidh Band at Sloans Bar & Restaurant, Argyll Arcade, Glasgow. The band are performing every friday night from 8.00pm in the grand ballroom upstairs. It's a perfect opportunity to see Chitterybite perform at the oldest Pub in Glasgow. I can definitely testify positively for the Chitterybites!! I heard them when
we can over to Edinburgh for a wedding last March.
I liked them from the word go and we talked about it there and then. They really
get people on the floor. Our ball here is very high profile--we had three Ambassadors
(including the British Ambassador) and three attaches. Everyone said it was
the best-ever ball. If you don't have good music and a good piper, all the planning
goes to waste. They are a nice bunch of lads and are so obliging. If you want
to change something , they will bend over backwards to please you.
